Tax Intern - Winter 2027

About the role#

As a Tax Intern for Winter 2027, you will gain hands-on experience in tax procedures, including consulting, return preparation, and research. You will work directly with partners, senior executives, and peers as part of an engagement team. This role provides exposure to various client industries and opportunities to build professional relationships through networking, mentorship, and team-building activities.

What you'll do#

• Review data input, identify and resolve technical tax issues, and assist in reviewing tax preparations completed by the firm's international teams.
• Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
• Research and assess tax issues while providing information to senior staff.
• Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and manage client relationships.
• Participate in team-building exercises and professional development sessions with mentors.
• Work on a variety of client engagements across different industries.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong technical aptitude and a demonstrated ability to manage projects, including planning and time management.
• Ability to work efficiently in a complex team environment.
• Willingness to work additional hours as needed and travel to client sites on short notice.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.
