About the role#
As a Tax Intern during the Winter 2027 term, you will gain exposure to tax procedures, including tax consulting and return preparation. You will work alongside partners, senior executives, and peers as part of an engagement team, participating in tax research, planning, and the preparation of supporting work papers for various projects and industries. This role offers the opportunity to develop new skillsets, network with professionals, and engage in office community activities.
What you'll do#
- Review data input, identify and resolve technical tax issues, and assist in the review of tax preparations completed by our firm in India.
- Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
- Identify, research, and assess various tax issues while providing information to senior staff members.
- Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and strong professional relationships.
- Participate in team-building exercises and professional development discussions with your mentor.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong technical aptitude and a demonstrated ability in project management, including planning and time management.
- Ability to work efficiently in a complex team environment.
- Willingness to work additional hours as needed and travel to client sites on short notice.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
