Tax Intern - Summer 2027

About the role#

As a Tax Intern during the Summer 2027 term, you will gain exposure to core tax procedures, including tax consulting, return preparation, research, and planning. You will work directly with partners, senior executives, and peers as an active member of the engagement team. This role provides an opportunity to develop professional skills, engage in office community activities, and build lasting relationships within the firm.

What you'll do#

• Review data input, identify and resolve technical tax issues, and assist in reviewing tax preparations completed by our firm in India.
• Research and assess various tax issues while providing information to senior staff members.
• Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
• Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and maintain strong client relationships.
• Participate in team-building exercises and networking opportunities with peers.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
• Strong technical aptitude and a demonstrated ability in project planning and time management.
• Ability to work efficiently in a complex team environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Willingness and ability to travel to client sites and work additional hours as needed.

• Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
• Work Modality: Hybrid (requires in-person attendance at least two days per week at a firm office or client site).
• Employment Type: Full-time internship.
• Compensation: This is a paid position.
