About the role#
As a Tax Intern during Summer 2027, you will gain exposure to tax consulting and return preparation. You will work alongside partners, senior executives, and peers as part of an engagement team. This role involves tax research, tax planning, and the preparation of supporting work papers for various client engagements and projects.
What you'll do#
- Review data input, identify and resolve technical tax issues, and assist in the review of tax preparations completed by the firm in India.
- Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
- Identify, research, and assess various tax issues while providing information to senior staff members.
- Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and strong professional relationships.
- Network with peers and participate in office community activities, team-building exercises, and professional development discussions with a mentor.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude and skillset.
- Demonstrated project management abilities, including project planning and time management.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a complex team environment.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work additional hours as needed and travel to client sites on short notice.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Bellevue, Washington.
- Modality: Hybrid, requiring in-person attendance at least two days per week at a firm office or client site.
- Compensation: $40 per hour.
