Tax Intern - Summer 2027

About the role#

As a Tax Intern for Summer 2027, you will gain exposure to core tax procedures, including consulting, return preparation, and tax planning. You will work directly with engagement teams, including partners and senior executives, to prepare supporting work papers and manage various tax projects across a range of industries. This role offers the opportunity to develop professional skills, participate in office community activities, and build relationships within the firm.

What you'll do#

• Review data input, identify and resolve technical tax issues, and assist in reviewing tax preparations completed by the firm’s international offices.
• Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
• Research and assess complex tax issues while providing information to senior staff.
• Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and strong professional relationships.
• Participate in community outreach activities.
• Engage in project management tasks, including project planning and time management.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude and excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a complex team environment.
• Willingness and ability to work additional hours when necessary and travel to various client sites.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• Modality: Hybrid (requires in-person attendance at least two days per week at a firm office or client site).
