Tax Intern - Summer 2027

About the role#

As a Tax Intern during Summer 2027, you will gain exposure to core tax procedures, including tax consulting, research, planning, and the preparation of supporting work papers. You will work alongside Partners, Senior Executives, and peers as a member of the engagement team. This role offers the opportunity to develop new technical skillsets, build professional relationships, and participate in office community activities.

What you'll do#

• Review data input, identify and resolve technical tax issues, and assist in the review of tax preparations completed by the firm's team in India.
• Research and assess various tax issues and provide findings to senior staff members.
• Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
• Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and strong professional relationships.
• Participate in team-building exercises and networking opportunities with peers and staff.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong technical aptitude and demonstrated project management skills, including planning and time management.
• Ability to work efficiently in a complex team environment.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and work additional hours as needed.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
