Tax Intern - Summer 2027

About the role#

As a Tax Intern during Summer 2027, you will gain exposure to core tax procedures, including consulting, return preparation, research, and planning. You will work alongside partners, senior executives, and peers as part of an engagement team, participating in client projects across various industries while building professional relationships.

What you'll do#

• Review data input, identify and resolve technical tax issues, and assist in reviewing tax preparations completed by the firm's international offices.
• Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
• Identify, research, and assess tax issues to provide information to senior staff members.
• Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and strong professional relationships.
• Participate in team-building exercises and networking opportunities with peers and staff.

What you'll need#

• Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong technical aptitude and demonstrated project management skills, including planning and time management.
• Ability to work efficiently in a complex team environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Willingness to work additional hours as needed and travel to client sites on short notice.
