Tax Intern - Summer 2027

About the role#

As a Tax Intern for Summer 2027, you will gain exposure to tax consulting and return preparation. You will work alongside partners, senior executives, and peers as a member of an engagement team, participating in tax research, planning, and the preparation of supporting work papers. This role offers the opportunity to develop new skillsets, build professional relationships, and participate in team-building activities.

What you'll do#

• Review data input, identify and resolve technical tax issues, and assist in the review of tax preparations completed by our firm in India.
• Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
• Identify, research, and assess various tax issues while providing information to senior staff members.
• Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and strong professional relationships.
• Participate in team-building exercises and firm community activities.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
• Strong technical aptitude and project management skills, including project planning and time management.
• Ability to work efficiently in a complex team environment.
• Willingness and ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites on short notice.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• Status: Full-time, paid internship.
