Tax Intern - Summer 2027

About the role#

As a Tax Intern during Summer 2027, you will gain exposure to core tax procedures, including tax consulting, return preparation, research, and planning. You will work alongside partners, senior executives, and peers as an active member of an engagement team. This role provides opportunities to develop new technical skills, participate in office community activities, and build professional relationships.

What you'll do#

• Review data input, identify and resolve technical tax issues, and assist in the review of tax preparations completed by our firm in India.
• Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
• Identify, research, and assess various tax issues while providing information to senior staff members.
• Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and strong client relationships.
• Work on a variety of client engagements across different industries.
• Connect with fellow interns and staff at social events and participate in team-building exercises.

What you'll need#

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 preferred.
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong technical aptitude.
• Demonstrated project management skills, including project planning and time management.
• Ability to work efficiently in a complex team environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel to client sites and work additional hours as needed.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
