About the role#
During this internship, you will gain exposure to tax consulting and return preparation. You will work alongside partners, senior executives, and peers as a member of the engagement team. You will have the opportunity to develop new skill sets, participate in office community activities, and build professional relationships.
What you'll do#
- Review data input, identify and resolve technical tax issues, and assist in the review of tax preparations completed by the firm in India.
- Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
- Identify, research, and assess various tax issues while providing information to senior staff members.
- Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and strong client relationships.
- Work on a variety of client engagements across different industries.
- Participate in mentorship meetings, team-building exercises, and networking events.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
- Strong technical aptitude and project management skills, including project planning and time management.
- Ability to work efficiently in a complex team environment.
- Willingness to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

- Location: Melville, New York.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid (requires in-person attendance at least two days per week).
- Compensation: $40.00 per hour.
