About the role#
As a Tax Intern for Summer 2027, you will gain hands-on experience in tax consulting and return preparation. You will work directly with partners, senior executives, and peers as part of an engagement team. This role provides exposure to tax research, planning, and the preparation of supporting work papers across a variety of client engagements and industries.
What you'll do#
- Review data input and identify or resolve technical tax issues, including assisting in the review of tax preparations completed by the firm’s international teams.
- Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
- Identify, research, and assess complex tax issues while providing findings to senior staff.
- Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Participate in office community activities, team-building exercises, and professional development discussions with mentors.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude and a demonstrated ability to manage projects, including planning and time management.
- Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a complex team environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Willingness and ability to work additional hours and travel to client sites as needed.
