About the role#
As a Tax Intern during the Summer 2027 term, you will gain exposure to tax consulting and return preparation. You will work alongside partners, senior executives, and peers as part of an engagement team, contributing to tax research, planning, and the preparation of supporting work papers. This role offers the opportunity to develop technical skills, network with professionals, and participate in community and team-building activities.
What you'll do#
- Review data input and assist in the review of tax preparations completed by the firm in India.
- Identify, research, and assess technical tax issues, providing findings to senior staff members.
- Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
- Collaborate with client team members to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Participate in team-building exercises and professional development discussions with a mentor.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong technical aptitude and demonstrated project management abilities, including time management.
- Ability to work efficiently in a complex team environment.
- Willingness and ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to client sites on short notice.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.

- Location: Appleton, Wisconsin.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (requires in-person attendance at least two days per week at an office or client site).
