About the role#
As a Tax Intern, you will gain exposure to tax procedures including consulting, research, planning, and the preparation of supporting work papers for various tax returns. You will work alongside partners, senior executives, and peers as part of an engagement team, providing you with opportunities to develop new skills and build professional relationships.
What you'll do#
- Review data input and identify or resolve technical tax issues.
- Assist in the review of tax preparations completed by the firm’s international offices.
- Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
- Research and assess tax issues while providing findings to senior staff.
- Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and strong working relationships.
- Participate in team-building exercises and firm community activities.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong technical aptitude and demonstrated project management abilities, including time management and planning.
- Ability to work efficiently in a complex team environment.
- Willingness and ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to client sites on short notice.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

- Location: Houston, TX.
- Term: Summer 2026.
- Modality: Hybrid (requires in-person attendance at least two days per week at a firm office or client site).
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
