About the role#
As a Strategic Assurance and SOC Services (SASS) Intern, you will join our audit professionals to help organizations build and preserve trust. You will assist in assessing risk management programs and validating risk mitigation strategies for our clients. This role involves working on engagements ranging from Readiness Assessments to formal examinations, including SOC 1, SOC 2, HIPAA, and HITRUST projects.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with clients to plan engagement strategy, define objectives, and address business risks.
- Test and evaluate business processes and information technology controls to mitigate risk.
- Execute assigned client engagements from start to completion.
- Obtain relevant control evidence using data collection techniques.
- Document testing results, conclusions, and recommendations.
- Participate in client status updates and draft client deliverables.
- Perform detailed analysis to identify compliance or improvement opportunities.
- Prioritize work efforts to meet project objectives.
- Participate in recruiting efforts as needed.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or a related field.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Ability to work additional hours as needed.
- Ability to travel 20%-50% as required.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

- Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (requires in-person attendance at least three days per week at a firm office or client site).
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
