Audit & Assurance Intern - Winter 2027

About the role#

As an Audit & Assurance Intern for Winter 2027, you will gain hands-on experience by working alongside Partners, Senior Executives, and engagement team members. You will be exposed to various audit procedures and client engagements across different industries, while receiving mentorship and participating in professional development activities.

What you'll do#

• Review and audit business transaction cycles, including cash, treasury, capital expenditures, and other income and expenses.
• Research audit issues using electronic databases and track financial information using specialized audit software.
• Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and strong professional relationships.
• Work closely with staff, managers, and partners on all phases of project engagements.
• Network with peers and participate in team-building exercises and office community activities.
• Identify, assess, and communicate audit-related issues to senior staff.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong technical aptitude and project management skills, including project planning and time management.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a complex team environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel to client sites and work additional hours as needed.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• Location: San Francisco, California.
• Term: Winter 2027.
• Work Modality: Hybrid (requires in-person attendance at least two days per week at an office or client site).
• Compensation: $42.50 per hour.
