Audit & Assurance Intern – Winter 2027

About the role#

As an Audit & Assurance Intern, you will gain exposure to core audit procedures, including the analysis of cash, receivables, inventory, fixed assets, payroll, and expenses. You will work alongside partners, senior executives, and peers as an active member of engagement teams across various industries. This role offers the opportunity to develop professional skillsets, participate in team-building activities, and build relationships within the firm.

What you'll do#

• Review and audit business transaction cycles, including cash, treasury, capital expenditures, and other income and expenses.
• Research audit issues using electronic databases and track financial information through audit-related software.
• Identify and assess audit-related issues and communicate findings to senior staff.
• Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and maintain professional relationships.
• Work closely with staff, managers, and partners throughout all phases of client projects.
• Participate in team-building exercises and professional development discussions with a mentor.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong technical aptitude and demonstrated project management abilities, including planning and time management.
• Ability to work effectively in a complex team environment.
• Willingness and ability to work additional hours and travel to client sites as needed.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
