Audit & Assurance Intern - Winter 2027

About the role#

As an Audit & Assurance Intern for the Winter 2027 term, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting engagement teams on a variety of client projects. This role involves working alongside partners, senior executives, and peers to learn audit procedures, build professional relationships, and develop your leadership skills. You will be part of a collaborative environment that emphasizes mentorship, team-building, and community outreach.

What you'll do#

• Review and audit business transaction cycles, including cash, treasury, capital expenditures, and other income and expense areas.
• Research audit issues using electronic databases and audit-related software to review financial information.
• Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and strong professional relationships.
• Work closely with staff, managers, and partners across all phases of project engagements.
• Participate in team-building exercises and networking opportunities with peers and firm staff.

What you'll need#

• Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong technical aptitude and skillset.
• Ability to travel on short notice and work additional hours as necessary.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.

Location & details#

• Location: Newport Beach, California.
• Modality: Hybrid, requiring in-person attendance at least two days per week at a firm office or client site.
• Status: Full-time, paid internship.
