Audit & Assurance Intern - Winter 2027

About the role#

As an Audit & Assurance Intern for Winter 2027, you will gain hands-on experience by working alongside partners, senior executives, and peers on engagement teams. This role offers exposure to various audit procedures and client engagements across multiple industries. You will be supported by a mentor for professional development and have opportunities to participate in firm activities and networking events.

What you'll do#

• Review and audit business transaction cycles, including cash, treasury, capital expenditures, and other income and expenses.
• Research audit issues using electronic databases and track financial information with audit-related software.
• Identify and assess audit-related issues and inform senior staff members.
• Work collaboratively with client team members to build rapport and strong client relationships.
• Network with peers and participate in team-building exercises.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong technical aptitude and project management skills, including time management and planning.
• Ability to work effectively in a complex team environment.
• Willingness to work additional hours as needed and travel to client sites on short notice.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Location & details#

• Location: San Jose, California.
• Modality: Hybrid (requires in-person attendance at least two days per week at a firm office or client site).
• Compensation: $42.50 per hour.
