Audit & Assurance Intern - Winter 2027

About the role#

As an Audit & Assurance Intern for Winter 2027, you will gain hands-on experience by working directly alongside partners, senior executives, and peers on engagement teams. You will be exposed to audit procedures across various business areas, including cash, receivables, inventory, fixed assets, payrolls, and expense analysis. This role offers the opportunity to develop new technical skills, participate in office community activities, and build professional relationships within a collaborative team environment.

What you'll do#

• Review and audit business transaction cycles, such as cash, treasury, capital expenditures, and other income and expenses.
• Research audit issues using electronic databases and track financial information using specialized audit software.
• Identify and assess audit-related issues and communicate findings to senior staff members.
• Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and maintain strong client relationships.
• Work closely with staff, managers, and partners across all phases of client engagements in various industries.
• Network with peers, meet with a mentor for professional development feedback, and participate in team-building and community outreach activities.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
• A strong technical aptitude and a demonstrated skillset in project management, including planning and time management.
• The ability to work efficiently in a complex team environment.
• Willingness and ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites on short notice.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Location & details#

• Location: Bellevue, Washington.
• Modality: Hybrid (requires in-person attendance at least two days per week at a firm office or client site).
• Compensation: $40 per hour.
