Audit & Assurance Intern - Winter 2027

About the role#

As an Audit & Assurance Intern for Winter 2027, you will gain hands-on experience by working alongside partners, senior executives, and peers on engagement teams. You will participate in various audit procedures across multiple industries, receive mentorship for professional development, and engage in team-building activities.

What you'll do#

• Review and audit business transaction cycles, including cash, treasury, capital expenditures, and other income and expenses.
• Research audit issues using electronic databases and track financial information with audit-related software.
• Identify, assess, and communicate audit-related issues to senior staff.
• Collaborate with client team members to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Work closely with staff, managers, and partners across all phases of project engagements.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude and analytical skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrated project management skills, including project planning and time management.
• Ability to work effectively in a complex team environment.
• Willingness and ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.

Location & details#

• Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota.
• Modality: Hybrid (requires in-person attendance at least two days per week at a firm office or client site).
• Compensation: $37 per hour.
