Audit & Assurance Intern - Summer 2027

About the role#

As an Audit & Assurance Intern, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting engagement teams through various phases of audit projects. You will work alongside partners, senior executives, and peers to perform audit procedures across diverse client industries. This role provides an opportunity to develop technical skills, engage in office community activities, and build professional relationships.

What you'll do#

• Review and audit business transaction cycles, including cash, treasury, capital expenditures, and other income and expenses.
• Research audit issues using electronic databases and review financial information using specialized audit software.
• Identify, assess, and communicate audit-related issues to senior staff.
• Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Work closely with staff, managers, and partners across all phases of project lifecycles.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong technical aptitude and a demonstrated ability in project planning and time management.
• Ability to work effectively in a complex team environment.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and work additional hours as necessary.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.

• Modality: Hybrid (requires in-person attendance at least two days per week at a firm office or client site).
• Compensation: $42.50 per hour.
• Employment Type: Full-time.
