About the role#
As an Audit & Assurance Intern, you will gain hands-on experience by working alongside partners, senior executives, and peers on engagement teams. This role provides exposure to audit procedures across various industries and client engagements, offering opportunities for professional development, mentorship, and networking within the firm.
What you'll do#
- Review and audit business transaction cycles, including cash, treasury, capital expenditures, and other income and expenses.
- Identify, assess, and communicate audit-related issues to senior staff members.
- Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Work closely with staff, managers, and partners across all phases of project lifecycles.
- Participate in team-building exercises and firm-sponsored community outreach activities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong technical aptitude and demonstrated project management capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively within a complex team environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel to client sites and work additional hours as needed.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Location & details#
- Location: Minneapolis, MN.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid, requiring in-person attendance at least two days per week at a firm office or client site.
- Compensation: $37 per hour.
