Audit & Assurance Intern - Summer 2027

About the role#

As an Audit & Assurance Intern for Summer 2027, you will gain hands-on experience by participating in audit procedures across various business transaction cycles. You will work directly with partners, senior executives, and peers as an active member of our engagement teams. Throughout the summer, you will have the opportunity to build professional relationships, participate in team-building exercises, and engage in mentorship and professional development discussions.

What you'll do#

• Review and audit business transaction cycles, including cash, treasury, capital expenditures, and other income and expenses.
• Research audit issues using electronic databases and track financial information with audit-related software.
• Identify, assess, and report audit-related issues to senior staff members.
• Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Work closely with staff, managers, and partners across all phases of project engagements.
• Participate in a variety of client engagements across different industries.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
• Strong technical aptitude and project management abilities, including planning and time management.
• Ability to work effectively in a complex team environment.
• Capacity to travel on short notice and work additional hours as necessary.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• Modality: Hybrid (requires in-person attendance at least two days per week at a firm office or client site).
