Audit & Assurance Intern - Summer 2027

About the role#

As an Audit & Assurance Intern, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting engagement teams on a variety of client projects. You will work alongside partners, senior executives, and peers to learn audit procedures, participate in office community activities, and build professional relationships. This role offers the opportunity to develop your leadership skills, engage in team-building exercises, and receive regular feedback through mentorship.

What you'll do#

• Review and audit business transaction cycles, including cash, treasury, capital expenditures, and other income and expenses.
• Research audit issues using electronic databases and track financial information using audit-related software.
• Identify and assess audit-related issues and inform senior staff members accordingly.
• Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Work closely with staff, managers, and partners across all phases of project engagements.
• Meet with your mentor for regular feedback and professional development discussions.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong technical aptitude and project management skills, including time management and planning.
• Ability to work effectively in a complex team environment.
• Willingness to travel on short notice and work additional hours as necessary.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.
