Audit & Assurance Intern – Summer 2027

About the role#

As an Audit & Assurance Intern for Summer 2027, you will gain exposure to core audit procedures across various business areas, including cash, receivables, inventory, fixed assets, payroll, and expense analysis. You will work alongside partners, senior executives, and peers as an active member of the engagement team. This role provides an opportunity to develop new technical skills, participate in office community activities, and build professional relationships.

What you'll do#

• Review and audit business transaction cycles, including cash, treasury, capital expenditures, and other income and expenses.
• Research audit issues using electronic databases and track financial information through audit-related software.
• Identify, assess, and inform senior staff members of audit-related issues.
• Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and strong professional relationships.
• Work with staff, managers, and partners across all project phases and various client engagements.
• Meet with your mentor for regular feedback and professional development discussions.
• Participate in team-building exercises, networking events, and community outreach activities.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong technical aptitude and project management capabilities, including planning and time management.
• Ability to work efficiently in a complex team environment.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and work additional hours as needed.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
