About the role#
As an Audit & Assurance Intern, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting engagement teams on a variety of client projects. You will work alongside partners, senior executives, and peers to learn audit procedures, participate in team-building activities, and build professional relationships within the firm.
What you'll do#
- Review and audit business transaction cycles, including cash, treasury, capital expenditures, and other income and expenses.
- Identify, assess, and inform senior staff members of audit-related issues.
- Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and strong professional relationships.
- Network with peers and participate in team-building exercises.
- Research audit issues using electronic databases and audit-related software.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong technical aptitude and skillset.
- The ability to work efficiently and effectively in a complex team environment.
- Willingness to work additional hours and travel to client sites as needed.
Location & details#
- Location: San Diego, California.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid (requires in-person attendance at least two days per week at a firm office or client site).
- Compensation: $40 per hour.
- Status: Full-time internship.
- Note: This position does not offer employment-based visa sponsorship.
