Audit & Assurance Intern - Summer 2027

About the role#

As an Audit & Assurance Intern, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting engagement teams through various audit procedures. You will work alongside partners, senior executives, and peers to learn essential industry skillsets while contributing to client projects. This role provides exposure to a variety of client engagements across different industries, with opportunities to participate in professional development, networking, and community outreach activities.

What you'll do#

• Review and audit business transaction cycles, including cash, treasury, capital expenditures, and other income and expenses.
• Research audit issues using electronic databases and track financial information with audit-related software.
• Identify and assess audit-related issues, communicating findings to senior staff members.
• Work collaboratively with client team members to build rapport and strong professional relationships.
• Support staff, managers, and partners throughout all phases of project lifecycles.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong technical aptitude and demonstrated project management abilities, including planning and time management.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and travel to client sites as needed.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.

• Location: Appleton, Wisconsin.
• Term: Summer 2027.
• Work Modality: Hybrid, with in-person attendance required at least two days per week at a firm office or client site.
