Audit & Assurance Intern

About the role#

As an Audit & Assurance Intern for Summer 2027, you will gain hands-on experience by participating in audit procedures across various business areas, including cash, receivables, inventory, fixed assets, payroll, and expense analysis. You will work alongside partners, senior executives, and peers as a member of the engagement team on a variety of client projects. The role includes mentorship, professional development, and opportunities to participate in office community activities and team-building exercises.

What you'll do#

• Review and audit business transaction cycles such as cash, treasury, capital expenditures, and other income and expenses.
• Research audit issues using electronic databases and track financial information with audit-related software.
• Identify and assess audit issues, communicating findings to senior staff members.
• Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Network with peers and engage with staff, managers, and partners across all project phases.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong technical aptitude and project management skills, including project planning and time management.
• Ability to work effectively in a complex team environment.
• Willingness to work additional hours and travel to client sites as needed.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• Term: Summer 2027.
• Work Modality: Hybrid, requiring in-person attendance at least two days per week at a firm office or client site.
