About the role#
As an Engineer Intern, you will assist construction engineering operations to ensure that work complies with all engineering standards. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Henderson, Nevada. You will work on-site and support our teams with data, documentation, and technical tasks.
What you'll do#
- Interpret design drawings for takeoffs and building construction projects.
- Prepare and distribute status reports, punch lists, and sketches.
- Provide technical support regarding project materials, delivery dates, and construction schedules.
- Assist with change orders and estimates by preparing drawings and sketches.
- Develop essential data including quantity take-offs and material pricing.
- Maintain accurate records of quantities for work performed and materials installed.
- Comply with and support corporate safety initiatives.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Up to 2 years of experience in construction estimating, engineering, or field support.
- Proficiency with MS Office products.
- The ability to perform trigonometric calculations.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to drive.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
- A willingness to follow the company Code of Conduct.
