About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Santa Rosa, California. You will work on-site to assist construction engineering operations and ensure that all work meets established engineering standards.
What you'll do#
- Interpret designs and drawings to support bidding and construction projects.
- Prepare and distribute documentation, including status reports, punch lists, and sketches.
- Provide technical support regarding project materials, delivery dates, and schedules.
- Assist with change orders and estimates by creating drawings and sketches.
- Develop data such as quantity take-offs and material pricing.
- Maintain accurate records of quantities for work performed and materials installed.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Up to 2 years of experience in construction estimating, engineering, or field support.
- Proficiency with MS Office products.
- Ability to perform trigonometric calculations.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well within a team.
- Commitment to corporate safety initiatives and the company Code of Conduct.
