About the role#
This is a 12-week paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027 based at our Home Office. You will work directly with our software engineering team to build and maintain business applications. The role focuses on low-code development and integrating AI into our existing workflows.
What you'll do#
- Build and modify business applications using the Appian low-code platform.
- Translate user requirements into functional interfaces, process models, expression rules, and data views.
- Explore and implement AI capabilities to automate tasks and improve system intelligence.
- Test code for accuracy and performance, and help with integrated system testing.
- Troubleshoot process failures and support the enhancement of existing applications.
- Participate in team standups, sprint planning, code reviews, demos, and retrospectives.
- Engage in our mentorship program, shadow roles across the organization, and attend professional development workshops.
- Contribute to community and stewardship efforts.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
