About the role#
This is a full-time internship for Summer 2027 based in Malta, New York. You will join the Corporate EHS and Sustainability team to support environmental initiatives and project management within our semiconductor manufacturing operations. This role is on-site and requires a 40-hour work week.
What you'll do#
- Assess and advance specific sustainability and EHS projects.
- Assist the team with peer benchmarking and resource conservation initiatives.
- Use AI tools to perform data analysis.
- Define and communicate the business case and next steps for your assigned projects.
- Ensure project milestones and deliverables are completed on time.
- Support the team on additional projects as needed.
- Follow all safety, health, and security programs to ensure work is performed in a safe and responsible manner.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as at least a sophomore in a Bachelor's or Master's program for Environmental Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum overall GPA of 3.0 and good academic standing.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
- Prior internship or co-op experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, project management skills, and strong communication and organizational abilities are preferred.
