About the role#
The Student Ambassador role supports the Avila University Arizona campus in Goodyear. You will act as a bridge between the student body and campus leadership to foster an engaged community. This position involves promoting university programs, assisting with events, and gathering student feedback to help improve the campus experience.
What you'll do#
- Promote campus programs, events, and student services through outreach and digital tools.
- Assist with the planning and execution of events like open houses, webinars, and workshops including setup and logistics.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop social media content, flyers, and event visuals.
- Build relationships with fellow students to understand their needs and share feedback with staff.
- Represent the university at community events and networking opportunities in the West Valley.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a program such as Communications, Business Administration, or Media Studies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, professional, and proactive attitude.
- Ability to collaborate, take initiative, and manage time effectively.
- Interest in leadership, community engagement, and student support.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods during events.

- Location: Goodyear, Arizona.
- Work Modality: Hybrid and on-site.
- Term: Rolling.
- Hours: 15-20 hours per week.
