About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to contribute to research projects within the Medicinal Chemistry department. You will gain experience in a professional laboratory setting while working on projects that support our research goals. The program includes professional development, leadership presentations, and networking opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Perform experiments under general supervision.
- Operate scientific equipment and select appropriate methods for your work.
- Analyze data and document your findings in an electronic notebook.
- Plan and organize the details of your experiments.
- Participate in group meetings and present your results.
- Deliver a final presentation near the end of your internship.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, JD, or PhD program at a nationally accredited U.S. university.
- Continued full-time enrollment in the Fall semester following the internship.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to commit to 10 to 12 consecutive weeks of full-time work between May and August.
- Independent authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Age 18 or older at the start of the program.
- Preferred background in Chemistry or Chemical Biology.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
