About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to contribute to research projects within Discovery Sciences and Technologies. You will work on data-driven discovery and platform innovation, applying technical approaches to support therapeutic research. The program includes professional development, leadership presentations, and networking opportunities, culminating in a final presentation of your work.
What you'll do#
- Apply machine learning, statistical modeling, and data science to analyze large-scale biological datasets.
- Investigate mechanisms relevant to therapeutic discovery.
- Explore and evaluate AI-enabled workflows for cellular phenotype identification, data interpretation, and visualization.
- Integrate experimental results with genomic and clinical datasets.
- Partner with experimental scientists to support data generation and validation efforts.
- Showcase your project outcomes with a final presentation at the end of the term.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, JD, or PhD program at a nationally accredited U.S. college or university.
- Continued full-time enrollment in the Fall semester following the internship.
- Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Must be at least 18 years of age at the start of the internship.
- Ability to commit to a full-time, 10-12 week internship between May and August.
- Independent authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.
- Ability to work on-site at the designated location.
