About the role#
As a Kite Research intern, you will contribute to high-impact projects within our cell biology team. This internship provides real-world experience at an innovative organization focused on CAR-T cell therapies. You will participate in professional development, leadership presentations, and social activities throughout the program.
What you'll do#
- Perform CAR-T cell manufacturing.
- Test constructs in vitro.
- Analyze and present data.
- Adapt to the needs of the team.
- Deliver a final presentation near the end of your internship.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's, Master's, MBA, JD, or PhD program at a nationally accredited U.S. university.
- Continued full-time enrollment in the Fall semester following the internship.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to work full-time for 10 to 12 consecutive weeks between May and August.
- Independent authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Minimum age of 18 at the start of the internship.
- Preferred degrees include a PhD or MD in Biology, Molecular and Cell Biology, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

- Location: Foster City, California.
- Modality: Hybrid (on-site work required).
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Compensation: Paid position with eligibility for housing stipends, sick time, and company holidays.
