About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain practical experience within a manufacturing environment. Interns will work on specific projects and documentation tasks to support plant operations and efficiency.
What you'll do#
- Document current and new processes by creating and updating work instructions accurately.
- Conduct project work including internet research, spreadsheet development, plant layout organization, and safety evaluations.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining strong communication with the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 4-year university as a Junior or higher in Industrial, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering. Industrial Engineering is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Access is a plus.
- Strong technical writing ability.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform prolonged periods of desk-based computer work.
- Previous manufacturing experience is beneficial but not required.
