About the role#
This is a full-time, paid engineering internship based on-site in Taylorsville, Mississippi. The role focuses on supporting manufacturing operations through process documentation and project-based assignments.
What you'll do#
- Create and update work instructions to accurately document new and existing processes.
- Execute project work including internet research, spreadsheet development, plant layout organization, and safety evaluations.
- Perform physical tasks as required, including lifting up to 50 pounds and spending prolonged periods working at a desk.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 4-year university as a Junior or higher in an engineering program, preferably Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing engineering.
- Strong technical writing ability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous manufacturing experience is considered a plus, as is experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Access.
