Engineering Intern

About the role#

This is a full-time, paid engineering internship based on-site in Taylorsville, Mississippi. The role focuses on supporting manufacturing operations through process documentation and project-based assignments.

What you'll do#

• Create and update work instructions to accurately document new and existing processes.
• Execute project work including internet research, spreadsheet development, plant layout organization, and safety evaluations.
• Perform physical tasks as required, including lifting up to 50 pounds and spending prolonged periods working at a desk.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a 4-year university as a Junior or higher in an engineering program, preferably Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing engineering.
• Strong technical writing ability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous manufacturing experience is considered a plus, as is experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Access.
