About the role#
We are looking for a student to join our team as a Mechanical Process Drafter Intern. In this role, you will provide CAD and BIM support on engineering design projects. These projects involve municipal water treatment, wastewater treatment, pumping stations, and various process systems.
What you'll do#
- Provide CAD and BIM support for engineering design projects.
- Communicate with project team members through Microsoft Teams, email, or in-person meetings.
- Review and maintain design standards and model conformances.
- Assist project designers in kick-off, coordination, and design review meetings.
- Help prepare project deliverables for design packages.
- Manage drawing updates, revisions, and development.
- Perform tasks such as document scanning, plotting, site visits, and creating as-built or record drawings under the mentorship of your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- You are actively pursuing an Associate Degree in Drafting, Design, Engineering Technology, or a similar field.
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD is preferred.
- Knowledge of Revit, Plant3D, and Civil3D is helpful but not required.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.
- The role follows a hybrid work model, requiring you to be in the office three days a week.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
