About the role#
GHD is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join our Water team for the Summer 2027 term. You will work alongside project engineers and project managers to support the planning, design, and construction engineering of water, wastewater, and infrastructure projects for municipal and private clients.
What you'll do#
- Conduct field investigations and construction inspections.
- Perform engineering studies and prepare comparative engineering and economic evaluations.
- Collect and compile project data.
- Assist with CADD drawings and the development of facilities layouts.
- Prepare cost estimates and complete design calculations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Civil Engineering.
- A solid understanding of engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.

- Location: Atlanta, Georgia.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with three days per week in the office.
