About the role#
Ghafari Associates is hiring an Electrical Engineering Intern for the summer of 2027. You will work under the direction of project engineers and managers to assist in the creation of engineering design documents and digital models. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site.
What you'll do#
- Create engineering documents using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Collaborate with engineers during the design phase to determine project requirements.
- Detail design documents and provide limited design input.
- Produce final documents for review and make necessary corrections.
- Check for the integration of sections and coordinate across disciplines.
- Resolve document coordination and production problems with the engineering team.
- Produce drawings and 3D digital design models.
- Reproduce documents as requested.
- Use team-oriented problem solving to complete assigned tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program for Electrical Engineering.
- Completion of at least two years of coursework.
- Working proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative and follow direction.
- Previous internship or co-op experience is a plus.
