About the role#
Geotab is seeking a Corporate Compliance Intern to join our team for a 12-month, full-time internship beginning in January 2027. This role focuses on supporting our Ethics and Compliance program, helping to foster a culture of integrity across the organization. You will gain hands-on experience in policy management, training, and risk assessment while working on projects that support our compliance framework.
What you'll do#
- Support the development and implementation of our corporate Ethics and Compliance program.
- Draft, review, and revise corporate policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.
- Create materials and communication drafts for training and awareness campaigns.
- Conduct research on regulatory trends, industry best practices, and compliance topics.
- Assist with core compliance processes including conflicts of interest, anti-bribery and corruption, and business continuity.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Legal, Human Resources, Internal Audit, and Ethics and Compliance teams.
- Manage project timelines, track deliverables, and provide status updates.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong research and analytical skills with a focus on detail.
- Systematic and logical approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Proactive and curious mindset with an interest in corporate ethics and risk management.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time position working 37.5 hours per week.
- The role is based in Oakville, Toronto, or Waterloo, Ontario.
- We operate under a hybrid work model, supporting both in-person and virtual work.
- The internship term is 12 months, starting in January 2027.
