About the role#
The Baratta Center for Global Business Education at Georgetown McDonough School of Business acts as a hub for students interested in the intersection of business, policy, geopolitics, and technology. This role serves as the senior leader for the center's co-curricular programming portfolio. You will report to the Executive Director and take ownership of the student experience, ranging from initial curriculum design to execution and assessment. This is an entrepreneurial position requiring significant autonomy as you shape how students engage with the center.
What you'll do#
- Design and lead the delivery of co-curricular programs, immersive global experiences, and practitioner convenings.
- Manage internship placements for students.
- Develop new programs and innovate on existing offerings.
- Integrate corporate practitioners into programming by working with the Associate Director for External Relations to bring in mentors, speakers, and case study subjects.
- Oversee student experience management from ideation through continuous improvement.
What you'll need#
- An MBA or equivalent advanced degree. A bachelor's degree with exceptional relevant experience will also be considered.
- 5-7 years of professional experience, ideally including private sector work in consulting, corporate strategy, or finance.
- Exposure to public sector, policy, or government environments.
- A proven track record of designing and executing multi-stakeholder programs.
- Substantive knowledge of or professional engagement with geopolitics or international business.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write intellectually rigorous materials and facilitate senior-level conversations.
- Deep familiarity with AI tools and proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Experience designing or running programs in an academic, think tank, or policy institute setting is preferred, as is teaching or facilitation experience.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Washington, DC.
- The work modality is Hybrid, with a minimum of 60% on-campus attendance required.
- This is a full-time, paid position.
