About the role#
Genesis Hospitality is seeking a Research Associate Intern for the Fall 2026 term. This is an unpaid, for-credit internship based in our Hamilton Township office. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to support organic synthesis efforts for various research projects.
What you'll do#
- Perform organic synthesis tasks focused on hit to lead or lead optimization against novel drug targets.
- Contribute to the library synthesis of compounds for research collections.
- Collaborate with team members and work independently on assigned research tasks.
- Report to the Department Director or other assigned supervisors.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college pursuing a degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Biomedical Sciences.
- Academic status that allows you to receive credit for this internship.
- Practical experience in multi-step organic synthesis, purification, and structural characterization.
- Familiarity with modern chromatographic techniques such as flash chromatography, preparative scale HPLC, and LCMS.
- Experience with parallel synthesis or solid phase chemistry.

- This position is located in Hamilton Township, New Jersey.
- You must be on-site at the office every workday.
- This is a full-time internship for the Fall 2026 term.
