About the role#
This Mechanical Engineering Co-Op position runs from January to May 2027. You will support defense-related programs at our McLeansville facility. This is a full-time, paid role that requires you to work on-site.
What you'll do#
- Apply your classroom knowledge to real-world defense projects.
- Collaborate with technical teams on various assignments.
- Work alongside experienced colleagues to build your engineering skills.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited Mechanical or Systems Engineering degree program.
- Preference for sophomore standing or higher.
- A solid grasp of engineering technology and principles.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Ability to obtain a Department of Defense secret security clearance.

- Location: McLeansville, North Carolina.
- Work Modality: 100% on-site.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January through May).
- Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour.
