About the role#
As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will contribute to programs that support national defense. You will work alongside experienced colleagues on technical projects, applying your academic knowledge to real-world missions. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position based in Middletown, Rhode Island.

- Work with a group of technically accomplished colleagues.
- Participate in projects that support national defense services.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited degree program for Computer, Systems, Software, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- A thorough understanding of engineering technology.
- Preference for students with a standing of sophomore or higher.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
- Ability to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- A Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred.

- Pay: $27.50 to $30.70 per hour.
