About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to apply your academic knowledge to programs supporting national defense services. You will join our team during the summer of 2027 to assist with hardware development and technical programs. This is a paid, full-time position based in Bloomington, Minnesota.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to programs involving airborne mission computers, display processing computers, radar processing systems, and stores management systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on technical projects related to our core mission.
- Engage with colleagues to learn the hardware development process.
- Apply circuit analysis, simulation, and troubleshooting skills gained in the classroom and lab.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited degree program for Computer, Systems, Software, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- A standing of sophomore or higher is preferred.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
- A Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at the time of hire.
- The ability to work through technical challenges with minimal direction.
