About the role#
General Dynamics Mission Systems is hiring an Electrical Engineer Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site at our facility in McLeansville, North Carolina. You will contribute to defense-related programs that support national security missions.
What you'll do#
- Apply your classroom knowledge to real-world defense projects.
- Collaborate with technical teams to develop solutions for national security.
- Work alongside experienced colleagues to build your engineering skill set.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited Electrical Engineering degree program.
- Sophomore standing or higher is preferred.
- A thorough understanding of engineering technology.
- Ability to obtain a Department of Defense secret security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.

- Compensation: $26.00 to $29.00 per hour.
