    About the role#

    General Dynamics Mission Systems is hiring an Electrical Engineer Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site at our facility in McLeansville, North Carolina. You will contribute to defense-related programs that support national security missions.

    What you'll do#

    • Apply your classroom knowledge to real-world defense projects.
    • Collaborate with technical teams to develop solutions for national security.
    • Work alongside experienced colleagues to build your engineering skill set.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in an accredited Electrical Engineering degree program.
    • Sophomore standing or higher is preferred.
    • A thorough understanding of engineering technology.
    • Ability to obtain a Department of Defense secret security clearance.
    • U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.

    • Location: McLeansville, NC.
    • Work Modality: 100% on-site.
    • Term: Summer 2027.
    • Compensation: $26.00 to $29.00 per hour.
