About the role#
The Industrial Design Intern supports graphic and industrial design needs across the organization. You will work on product development, innovation, and marketing projects. This role involves creating renderings, illustrations, physical prototypes, and 3D models. You will gain experience delivering high-quality work within project timelines and budgets.
What you'll do#
- Assist in all phases of product development, from translating innovation into concepts to bringing them to production.
- Work with project teams to support design needs.
- Create and implement VBL documentation.
- Execute design work against VBL and brand strategies at both product and category levels.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Industrial Design or a related field.
- Exposure to CAD software like SolidWorks or CREO.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Procreate.
- Strong communication, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
Location & details#
- Location: Waukesha, Wisconsin.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, minimum of 35 hours per week.
- Term: Rolling.
- Employment type: Paid internship.
- Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand, walk, and perform continuous computer-based work.
