About the role#
As a Systems Architecture intern, you will contribute to the application of Generative AI in product management and support automation solutions. You will work on services productivity initiatives to help electrify and decarbonize the world.
What you'll do#
- Assist in developing AI-driven tools to improve business functions in engineering and product management.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to integrate new methodologies.
- Support the training and adoption of Generative AI tools within the organization.
- Assist the engineering team in subcomponent selection, hardware research, and lab-based prototype demonstrations.
- Drive the collection of visual data from site visits.
- Create training materials and documentation to bridge the gap between development and field operations.
- Work with the services team to drive productivity for planned inspections and upgrades.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Computer Science Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- A proactive mindset toward process improvement and power generation problem solving.
- Interest in bridging digital technology development with on-site power plant services.
- Experience with data analysis or power generation tools such as Gas Turbines is a plus.
- Knowledge in Mechanical and Computer Science or Electrical and Computer Science is preferred.

- Locations: Greenville, South Carolina and Schenectady, New York.
- Modality: On-site.
- Employment type: Full time.
- Compensation: $1,000 to $2,000 per week.
- Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
